I have been photographing Sussex churches for years for Fishbourne Parish Magazine and the Looking at Sussex Churches blog, and if I spot a boat I snap it. Here is a slide show of all the ones I can remember.
Hi Max - I particularly like the panel in the St Nicholas window at Arundel showing the saint aboard the pilgrim ship en route to Jerusalem. He reassured the sailors that God would not allow the ship to sink. Obviously they took his word for it because all the reefs are out (you can see them in the background) despite the enormous waves.
