ReplyDeleteIf this impressive work of art had only been fashioned from wood, you would not only display it proudly in your home, but would regale us with the history of its manufacture and an analysis of the various antecedents that influenced its design. Its delicate melding of classic nautical themes with modern timekeeping functionality has been carried off with grace and character.
I'd be willing to wager that, for similar reasons, you've also stricken from your life the entire genre of arylic on brushed velvet painting, and are a poorer soul as a consequence.
I'll pay the postage to send it to the old curmudgeon!
