Work and Sloth

Work and sloth are a time-consuming combination. And the windy weather has not helped. But last Sunday I managed to get out sailing with the Dinghy Cruising Association and John Hall came along too.
For the first time in weeks everyone was complaining about the lack of wind.
Here we are ghosting into the mouth of the mill stream at Langstone to meet the guys. A lovely day on the water.
Alan Moulton took the picture.

Charts show a slip in that little inlet but I'm assuming it's private... where did you launch from, Chris?

The others launched at Eastney close to the lifeboat station I think, but I had stuff to do at the Cutters boat park so I launched there and rowed through the bridges.

Seasons Greeting Chris. It's nice to see people in your part of the world still using their boats, I am reading so many stories about people hauling out for the winter (which is very understandable with bigger craft). Do you intend to keep sailing right through till next Spring whenever there is a good weather window??
