Rowing Tat

I am fairly tolerant when people assume that because I love rowing I will love to own rowing-related ornaments and display them in my home, but I wish to announce right now that if anybody gives me this for Christmas there will be swift and bloody vengeance.

Once again you display your innate and unreasonable dislike for all things wrought in resin.

If this impressive work of art had only been fashioned from wood, you would not only display it proudly in your home, but would regale us with the history of its manufacture and an analysis of the various antecedents that influenced its design. Its delicate melding of classic nautical themes with modern timekeeping functionality has been carried off with grace and character.

I'd be willing to wager that, for similar reasons, you've also stricken from your life the entire genre of arylic on brushed velvet painting, and are a poorer soul as a consequence.

Is this a veiled request from the wish list? A bit of reverse psychology?

the devil's in the detail, no pelicans in Chichester and if there were a proper pair of sculls rather than those paddles Chris would have been delighted!!
