Impressive. Would be an interesting experience to have a row in it. I would be interested to know what it is made of, carbon fibre? and the bit where the hull sections are connected together would be an interesting piece of engineering.

It seems to steer ok although I wouldn't want to be the coxswain - doesn't he / she get thrown in the water after a winning race? With that number of crew to do the throwing who knows where you might end up!

The boat is Carbon fiber and the joints are really just bulkheads bolted together, it takes some effort. Sectional 8+ were quite common at one time so I guess this is just an extreme version. Steering will probably be as much with the oars as with the rudder, but it looks like a lot of fun.
