Inspiration at Beale Park for all of us entering the final reach of life's row with Noel, a lovely little single skiff that was used until fairly recently by a lady who rowed and camped on the Thames well into her 90s.

The punt is top of the list - I just need to earn a bit of dosh and convince the family that they don't need the dining room for a few weeks...
Not sure you need to be old, my first holiday afloat was in a similar but 2 person skiff with my mum & dad, hired from Goldings on the promenade at Windsor, I was about 4 or 5, we got as far upstream as Clivedon in a week - been hooked on boats ever since.
